Advice for Ethiopian opal:
Ethiopian opal is a very delicate stone, avoid contact with any form of liquid, avoid direct contact with the skin, avoid leaving it in the sun for too long or subjecting it to sudden temperature changes.
Depending on all this, its visual appearance may change, in particular its opacity/transparency and loss of color. It will need to be left to rest far to the heat and sunlight from 3 to 20 days (approximative) to regain its initial appearance. The weight of the opal can also vary depending on its water percentage.
If it does not regain its initial appearance it is because it has been permanently modified. Irreversible cracks can also appear if the advice is not followed.
A bit like untreated turquoise and coral, it is a stone that keeps the traces of time.

Conseil pour l'opale d'Ethiopie:
L'opale d'Ethiopie est une pierre très délicate, éviter le contact avec toute forme de liquide, éviter le contact direct avec la peau, éviter de la laisser trop longtemps au soleil ou de lui faire subir des écarts de température brutaux.
En fonction de tout cela, son aspect visuel peu changer notammment son opacité/transparence et perte de couleur. Il faudra la laisser quelques jours au repos pour qu'elle retouve son aspect initial. Le poids  de l'opale peut également varier selon son pourcentage d'eau.
Si elle ne retrouve pas son aspect initial c'est qu'elle a été modifiée de façon permanante. Des fissures irréverssibles peuvent aussi apparaitre si les conseils ne sont pas respectés.
Un peu comme la turquoise non traitée et le corail, c'est une pierre qui garde les traces du temps.
